Apply online! Submit an application on our website and pay the application fee, including the required documents:

1. Copy of your Passport Page.
2. Financial Documents - a bank statement showing at least $3,000 for every month you plan to study.
3. Transcripts from high school or university if you plan to study at a U.S. university.

We will send I-20 with your SEVIS number so you can begin scheduling your visa appointment.

If all of your documents and information are submitted with the application, we should be able to issue your I-20 in 1-2 business days, although it can take slightly longer if we are receiving a large number of applications. If we do not receive all of your documents with the application, we will let you know right away in a confirmation email, but that also will most likely prolong the process.

Example summary of costs for studying General English Essential (24 weekly lessons) for eight-weeks (2023):

• Tuition = $3,760
• Health Insurance = $260 (2 months)
• IF Dormitory, Shared Room =  $1,880 (2 months)
• IF Homestay with Meals = $2,120/session (2 months)
  Materials fee = $100-$200 per level (may be 4-week or 8-week session)                                

TOTAL (approximate) = $6,200 – $6,440

During your studies you will have other expenses, include housing, food, books, transportation, and spending money.

Some spending money (about $200/month) is recommended for activities and miscellaneous expenses.

Tuition is due the first day of class. We do encourage you to pay prior to your arrival, but only after your visa has been approved! The only fee due before you get your visa is the $125 application fee. (Please note that some other fees apply for students applying for Overseas Conditional Admission, express mail, Change of Status, or who are applying from countries with high visa denial rates.)

Tuition for one full-time 4-week session of General English Essential (24 hours/week) is $2,240. If you study for more than 4 weeks — for 8 weeks, 16 weeks, or even 48 weeks, for example — you will receive a discounted rate depending on the number of weeks in your study plan. For example, tuition for 8 weeks is only $3,760, saving you $720 off the 4-week rate.

Please contact us for details and to discuss your study plan. Students who will attend WESLI with F-1 visas must study full-time, 24 or more lessons per week.

If you pay up front, a substantial tuition discount is included. However, if you need to pay in installments we are often able to accommodate with a payment plan. Please contact us if you will not be able to pay your full tuition up front and we will discuss other options with you.

Submit an application on our website, including the required documents, and indicate that you are a transfer student. We will send the necessary forms to transfer your SEVIS record from your other school to WESLI. Please note that you will need to start at our next available start date after you leave your previous school!
