Our Facilities
The WESLI Building
Located right in the heart of Madison city center, WESLI is in a charming historical building with high ceilings and stone walls. Original woodwork and sandstone walls still remain throughout the building. Some classrooms overlook the Capitol Square with its magnificent building, public park, and vibrant downtown life.
We don't look like a typical language school, and that's one of the things people love about us! Our modern spin on an old building helps create a warm, open space that is welcoming for all students.
With a strong focus on academic and personal progression for students, we believe that the unique combination of our supportive faculty and our high quality facilities help provide the individualized learning experience that students want, while helping them make friends and commuity connections.
Classrooms
WESLI has 8 classrooms designed to provide an excellent learning environment. We have Apple AirPlay in each classroom for collaborative learning. Movable chairs and tables enable our teachers to create a flexible learning environment.
Lounge & Lunchroom
The student lounge and lunchroom provide a comfortable place to study, relax, and socialize during class breaks. It's the perfect place to help you build more community connections!
Wifi and Computers
WESLI has high speed wireless Internet. You may use your own laptop or device. If required, assignments can be printed at WESLI.
Student Service Offices
WESLI staff members are available to help students with housing, immigration advising, university applications, nearby activities, conversation partners, and any other questions a student may have. Our friendly Student Support team will be there for you from your first day to your last when you graduate as a proud WESLI alumni!
Libraries
WESLI students may use Madison’s award-winning Central Public Library (located two blocks from our school). Students can get a free library card to use their on-site computers or printers and borrow materials from the city's public libraries.
The University of Wisconsin Library system is also available to use. There are over 12 major libraries on the UW campus. The largest library (Memorial Library) and the most popular (College Library) are only a 15-minute walk from WESLI.
