WESLI is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation for the period December 2016 through December 2025 and agrees to uphold the CEA Standards for English Language

The Wisconsin Educational Approval Program (EAP) is a postsecondary education regulatory agency that is charged with the following responsibilities:
- Evaluating and approving private trade, technical, career, distance learning, and degree-granting schools.
- Collecting and disseminating student outcome and satisfaction information from schools.
- Performing annual reviews of schools.
- Conducting regular on−site evaluations of schools.
- Holding schools accountable for improving their performance and effectiveness.
- Supporting options for innovative and quality programs offered by schools.
WESLI is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students.
StudyWisconsin is a non-profit group of higher educational, training organizations (Intensive English Language) and High Schools in the state of Wisconsin. StudyWisconsin members are committed to connecting international students and professionals with quality Wisconsin education and training through joint international marketing activities.

- To support the growth of international trade and commerce by fostering globalization of educational opportunities and training throughout the state of Wisconsin
- To increase the number of international students accessing Wisconsin educational programs—in person, online, & otherwise

EnglishUSA is the only organization in the United States that includes all types of English language programs (ELPs), including pathway programs within institutions. With a membership of over 200 accredited ELPs, EnglishUSA has the largest membership organization specifically serving and supporting ELPs in the United States. They support the professional development of ELP leaders and staff, uphold professional standards for ELPs, and increase the visibility of English language study in the United States.
WESLI has been selected by Quality English as a member school.
Quality English schools are carefully chosen from the best Independent English language schools in English-speaking countries. Cambridge Admissions Testing is part of the University of Cambridge and has been working with UK and worldwide universities, governments and employers for over 15 years. Their admissions assessments are a global mark of excellence that set the quality standard. Backed by extensive research, our admissions tests give your applicants the opportunity to prove they have what it takes and help enhance your selection process.
These exams will be discontinued after 2023.
Linguaskill is a quick and convenient online test to check the English levels of individuals and groups of candidates, powered by Artificial Intelligence technology. It tests all four language skills - speaking, writing, reading and listening - in modules.
It provides accurate results within 48 hours. Results are aligned to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), the international standard for describing language ability.
Linguaskill is distributed through their network of authorized agents who run and administer the test. WESLI is an authorized agent to administer this exam.
